Precision Assembly Technician

Location: RuncornHours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (early finish Friday)Pay: £12.21 per hourContract: Temp to Perm

About the Role

We're recruiting for a hands-on, detail-driven Precision Assembly Technician to join a technical manufacturing team in a clean and organised lab/workshop environment. You'll be assembling small, intricate mechanical and electronic components used in high-accuracy engineered products.

If you enjoy fine assembly work, problem-solving, and working with precision tools, this role will suit you perfectly.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Assembling small mechanical and electronic components with high precision
  • Working from technical drawings, build instructions, and assembly procedures
  • Carrying out functional and basic electrical testing
  • Recording build data and completing quality documentation accurately
  • Supporting prototype or one-off build projects when needed
  • Maintaining a tidy, safe, and controlled workspace
What We're Looking For
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or fine-component assembly
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of manual dexterity
  • Ability to read technical drawings or follow structured build processes
  • Comfortable working with small tools, delicate parts, and precision fixtures
  • A proactive, quality-focused mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Any experience with basic electronics or circuitry is a bonus
