Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator Post (Widnes/Runcorn)

Post 6 months on fixed term contract.

CGL is a health and social care charity working with individuals and their families and communities affected by substance misuse, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and anti‑social behaviour. The Halton Integrated Recovery Service is looking to employ one full time Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to work across the Widnes and Runcorn area.

Hours: Full Time

Contract: 6 Months Fixed Term Contract

Salary: Subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award.

Due to the nature of this role and the requirement to travel across multiple locations, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use are essential.

You will support the Community Order Treatment Requirements of service users involved in the Criminal Justice System, including:

  • Drug Rehabilitation Requirements (DRR)
  • Alcohol Treatment Requirements (ATR)
  • Rehabilitation Action Requirements (RAR)
  • Integrated Offender Management (IOM) cohort engaging with Police Services, Probation and CGL in the Community
  • Test on Arrest Programme
  • Service users released from prison back into the community setting

You will provide intensive assessment and case management services to a caseload of offenders with complex needs and will have group facilitation experience to support the successful desistance from offending Programme Atlas.

You will have excellent communication, organisational and partnership working skills, the ability to travel between Widnes and Runcorn, and a commitment to the safety and well‑being of all children, young people and adults.

This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level and Probation Vetting Clearance.
