Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a role where safety, accuracy and teamwork are at the heart of everything you do?

Do you have experience using FLTs, picking equipment or overhead cranes within a busy warehouse, stores or manufacturing environment?

Are you confident working with inventory systems and maintaining high standards of stock control and traceability?

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading industrial organisation as a Warehouse Operative within a busy stores and logistics function. This role offers the chance to play a key part in supporting warehouse operations, inventory management and safe material handling in a safety-focused environment.

The Role

This role would suit candidates working in these roles;
Warehouse Operative, Stores Operative, Material Handler, Logistics Operative, FLT Driver, Goods In Operative, Warehouse Technician, Inventory Controller, Stores Person, Distribution Operative.

We would also welcome applications from these industries;
Manufacturing, engineering, logistics, distribution, warehousing and supply chain operations.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
  • Maintain exceptional health, safety and environmental standards while carrying out all warehouse and stores activities.
  • Receive incoming deliveries, check materials and packaging for quality and accuracy, and correctly place stock within designated storage locations.
  • Prepare and load materials for dispatch, ensuring all goods are secured and transported safely.
  • Use FLTs, high-level picking equipment and lifting systems to move materials efficiently across the site.
  • Update warehouse systems and records accurately to support stock control, audit requirements and operational performance targets.
You will have the following qualifications &experience
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse, stores, logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as FLTs, order pickers or similar machinery.
  • Experience handling, moving and storing materials safely in line with health and safety procedures.
  • Good IT skills with experience using warehouse management, stock control or ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records and process documentation.
