, based in Runnemede, New Jersey!

This role offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of a premier auction house that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. As a member of our accounting team, you will help with financial audits and find discrepancies. You are responsible for keeping detailed financial records and ensuring reliable financial reporting across the organization.

Working with Accounts Payable (AP), the receivables team, and other cross-functional partners, you will review financial transactions and reconcile information across accounting systems. You will find chances to improve financial processes and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles. They will show outstanding attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. They will also communicate financial findings clearly to team members. • Financial Review and Reconciliation: Review transactions, invoices, and statements to identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities between Quick Books and Zen, ensuring consistency and accuracy across financial records.
• Audit Support and Documentation: Support financial audits by reviewing accounting records, gathering supporting documentation, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring financial information is complete and accurate.
• Audit Findings and Reporting: Document audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations in detailed audit reports, maintaining organized and accurate records of financial reviews and investigations.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare clear, concise audit reports summarizing findings, identifying potential risks, and suggesting improvements to strengthen financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Communication: Convey audit results to management and interested parties, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support informed financial decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) teams to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and support audit processes and financial reporting activities.
• Accounting Accuracy and Compliance: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting adherence to established accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies.
