Job description:

A Trainee Bodyshop Advisor/Administrator will learn to manage the administrative workflow of an accident repair center, acting as the primary link between customers, insurance companies, and technicians. Key duties include scheduling repairs, producing job cards, handling customer enquiries, and updating management systems to ensure efficient, profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greeting customers, managing bookings, and updating them on repair progress.
• Administration: Preparing, processing, and filing repair job cards and invoices.
• Workshop Scheduling: Coordinating repair timelines with technicians to maximize efficiency.
• Parts Administration: Liaising with the parts department to order and receive parts required for repairs.
• Claims Management: Communicating with insurance companies to authorize repairs and manage repair costs.

Skills and Experience will be gained in the following:

• Experience: Experience in a vehicle bodyshop, service department and customer service role
• Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
• Systems: Proficiency in computer systems.
• Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle accident repair processes and insurance procedures
