The Learning Mentor role involves working closely with children, families, school staff and outside agencies to help overcome barriers to learning and ensure children reach their full potential.
This will involve maintaining regular communication, making referrals, putting interventions in place, and liaising with relevant staff and professionals to enable pupils to fully engage with lessons to enable them to become more effective learners, and to improve academic and pastoral progress. The Learning Mentor will play an active role in supporting children with emotional regulation within the school setting. They will also support the Senior Leadership team with improving attendance, carrying out restorative conversations and safeguarding pupils’ welfare.
Salary Description 32.5 hours a week, 38 weeks a year
