Here at Aspire People, we are on the lookout for friendly, proactive, and resilient Teaching Assistants for a highly respected specialist setting that supports pupils with a range of additional needs. We are seeking enthusiastic, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their exceptional team.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with a variety of special educational needs (SEN), including ASD, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored learning and care.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
  • Assist with classroom activities, behaviour support, and personal development.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging independence and confidence.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with SEN children in any setting.
  • A calm, empathetic and "get stuck in" approach.
  • Passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and a positive attitude.

    A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
