Working on behalf of our partner school, Randstad Education is looking for a talented MFL Teacher (French or Spanish) who can captivate pupils, build their confidence, and foster a genuine appreciation for foreign languages.

• Deliver Engaging Language Lessons: Plan and teach high-impact, interactive lessons in either French OR Spanish across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE), tailoring your delivery to stretch high achievers and support developing learners.

• Inspire Cultural Curiosity: Bring your target language to life by integrating real-world cultural insights, boosting engagement, and helping pupils see the practical value of modern languages.

• Track & Support Student Progress: Take on full teaching duties-including lesson preparation, marking, and regular assessments-to help pupils stay on target for their GCSEs.

• Foster a Confident Classroom: Build a positive, safe learning atmosphere where pupils feel comfortable practising their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

• Contribute to the Department: Collaborate with fellow MFL teachers to refine schemes of work, share effective teaching strategies, and support school-wide language events.

We are looking for a enthusiastic educator with a strong background in teaching either French or Spanish within a secondary school setting.

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (Early Career Teachers are warmly welcomed to apply).

• Proven track record of teaching French OR Spanish up to GCSE level following the UK National Curriculum.

• Strong classroom management techniques that encourage positive behaviour and active participation.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.

• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one with us).
