HLTAs are key to ensuring the Support the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aimed at pupils achieving their full potential in all areas of learning.
You will organise and manage teaching space and resources to help maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment.
Cover and lead class teaching (under supervision) as and when appropriate, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.
Contribute to effective assessment and planning, prepare spaces for lessons and use your area(s) of expertise to contribute to planning and preparation of learning activities.
Communicate effectively with other staff members, pupils, parents and carers under the direction of the class teacher, contributing to meetings by providing feedback on pupil progress, attainment and barriers to learning, as directed by teachers.
The post will be part time, 31.5 hours per week and term time plus training days.
