Job Description

We're looking for an MEP Planner to join our Mechanical and Electrical team based in the Midlands.

Location:

Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Hours:

Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes using Elecosoft Power Project and/or Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with Kier's planning standards and contract requirements.
  • Monitoring progress through site visits and maintaining accurate records using Bluebeam and Elecosoft Site Progress apps.
  • Identifying potential risks and delays, working collaboratively with project teams to develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Preparing clear and concise progress reports and updates for stakeholders, keeping everyone informed of project status.
  • Reviewing supply chain programmes and facilitating coordination meetings to ensure seamless project delivery.
Qualifications
  • Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Elecosoft Power Project, with the ability to create fully logic‑linked programmes and produce accurate take‑offs.
  • 4‑6 years' hands‑on experience as an MEP planner, ideally on office, custodial, or pharmaceutical laboratory projects.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in Bluebeam Revu.
  • 3‑5 years' experience in tender and pre‑construction planning.
  • Positive, open‑minded team player with the ability to work independently and a genuine enthusiasm for learning and development.
