We have an excellent opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team to be based in;
We have a part time position available. Working usual shift patterns of the below:
- Monday: 8.30am - 9.30am, 12.30pm - 4.30pm
- Tuesday: 8am - 4.30pm
- Alternate Fridays: 4pm - 10pm

Job Description:
As a Home Care Worker, you’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes
- Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping with the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
- Supporting service users to access and be a part of the local community, including attending appointments, events and social activities where needed.
- Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
- Support with administering medication.
In addition to providing personal care and support, you will also be responsible for:
- Supporting with catheter care.
- Assisting with PEG-J care following individual care plans and training provided.
- Administering and supporting with seizure medication as required.
- Supporting service users with shopping and running errands.
- Completing household tasks to help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying service users to appointments.
- Supporting participation in sports, hobbies and recreational activities.
- Delivering tailored, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Have a right to work within the UK.
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
- Needs to be able to drive a manual car and able to drive a WAV ( Wheelchair access vehicle ) - Experience in this role is essential. You will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care.
