As a Vitality Nurse Examiner, you'll play a key role in helping our members take charge of their health and wellbeing. Every day brings variety as you carry out health screenings, collect and test blood, urine and saliva samples, and gather valuable medical information across a wide range of conditions. You'll also deliver services such as Medical Telephone Questionnaires, Member Health Checks and Wellness Days, making a real difference to people's health journeys.
Working across a designated area, you'll meet members in a range of settings, building trusted relationships while providing exceptional, personalised care and support wherever it's needed most. You will work a 37.5 hour week across 5 days with an alternating Saturday Rota (shifts between 8-4, 12-8). You will be required to travel daily within your designated area, so a full clean driving license is required.
A degree of flexibility is required. Although you will work independently, you will be part of a team of Nurses professionals and Office team members. Key Actions Conduct client screening appointments in members' homes or workplaces. Complete Medical Telephone Questionnaires when diary availability allows. Liaise with members, underwriters, and operational teams to deliver a positive customer experience. Manage client expectations in line with company policies and procedures.
Plan, organise and prioritise your workload and equipment to support your daily activities. Work closely with the concierge team to manage appointments and your diary effectively. Take ownership of each case, conduct health assessments, and collect samples for insurance applicants and healthcare customers. Promote health and wellbeing through every member interaction. What do you need to thrive? NMC Registered Nurse with a minimum of 10 years' post-registration experience.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel daily within your designated territory. Strong clinical knowledge and experience in phlebotomy. Confidence working independently and managing your own workload. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A caring, empathetic approach with the ability to put people ong organisational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable using technology and working remotely. Positive, professional, and customer-focused in every interaction.
Able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong observation and critical thinking skills. Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous learning. An active listener who asks thoughtful questions and adapts to individual needs. What do you need to thrive? You must be a fully qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC). Full driving licence is essential.
You should have a broad range of nursing experiences, medical knowledge and be experienced in phlebotomy and competent to work independently. Attention to detail critical to remember the smallest details. An excellent communicator both written and verbal and with great people / customer service skills. You must be computer literate and able to work independently with drive, enthusiasm and resilience.
Strong team working skills coupled with the ability to collaborate well. Skills to be able to manage many priorities in a fast paced environment. Polite, confident and professional telephone manner. Observation skills. Empathy and sensitivity to clients needs and concerns. Be comfortable and confident in working remotely and independently. Critical thinking to be able to assess a situation and make decisions on the spot.
