About the RoleThis 16‑hour contract role requires weekend availability. As a Customer Host Supervisor you support the Shop Manager to deliver outstanding customer experience, commercial, visual and operational standards, and to develop and train your team.
Primary Responsibilities- Customer Experience
- Lead by example and coach the team to ensure excellent customer service in line with our A.C.E pillars (Be Friendly, Be Inspiring, Be Invaluable) throughout the Customer Journey.
- Collect and protect customer information in accordance with data protection regulations, driving our email conversion and sign‑ups.
- Introduce customers to, and champion within the team, multichannel shopping through endless‑aisle orders.
- Product Presentation & Visual Standards
- Maintain high visual standards in‑store.
- Support floor moves, mannequin, window displays and replenishment.
- Understand the features of our product ranges, promote them within the team, and explain them to customers.
- Commercial Management
- Make commercial decisions and be proactive with stock, promotions and opportunities to drive sales.
- Coordinate promotions, incentives and key trading weeks including Customer Events, seasonal set‑up, sale launch and promotions.
- Communicate shop KPIs to the team and motivate them to achieve targets.
- Team Management
- Organise staff management processes such as Rotageek.
- Engage the team using company resources (website, Looking White Stuff, Tea Room, email communications, window guidelines and brand posts) and ensure compliance with daily/weekly actions.
- Create a positive atmosphere focused on sales and customer experience.
- Motivate and recognize the team, live brand values and champion them internally.
- Delegate tasks appropriately, prioritise work and seek opportunities to train and develop staff.
- Assist with wellbeing initiatives and raise people queries to relevant teams.
- Operational Support
- Process deliveries efficiently and ensure products are replenished and always available.
- Supervise stock takes and audits, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
- Handle daily transactional work, including paperwork, cashing up and use of in‑store systems.
- Understand policies, procedures and health & safety responsibilities.
- Support internal stakeholder visits and click‑and‑collect processes.
- Doing Good
- Be aware of and support partner charities, ethical sourcing initiatives and environmental impact.
