We are looking for a tutor to work in Russell, MB -

• Work Location: Russell, MB
• Schedule: Monday - Friday - 4 hours between 8am
  -5pm
• Starting Wage: $18.37/hr
• Vacation: Starting at 3 weeks'

Summary of the Role

We are seeking fun, energetic, enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team in supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to learn, discover and explore! As a tutor, you will be an integral part of a team, working one-on-one with children and families, teaching meaningful skills in all life areas based on individualized goals. classroom location, encourages creativity and play, inspiring both yourself and the child you are supporting to find joy in learning.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team
• Current First Aid and CPR certification

Assets:

• Post-secondary course work in behaviour modification/applied behaviour analysis (ABA)
• Previous experience as a tutor in a supervised applied behaviour analysis (ABA) program
• Previous experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities or ASD
• Knowledge of the philosophies and practices in education, care and support services for individuals with disabilities
