** B&B Roadway and Security Solutions, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Machine Shop Lead in our Russellville, AL location.

**** + 1 to 3 years involved with manufacturing processes.* + Able to effectively manage people, personalities, and challenges.* + Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.* + Must have strong verbal communication skills.* + 5-S training is a plus.* + Lean training is a plus.* + Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
* + Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.* + Maintain and improve operating performance of the department.* + Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.* + Manufacture products in conformance to plant quality standards.
** Job Duties and requirements:*** +

Experience with CNC mill, manual mill, lathe, and band saw.* + Experience managing and leading multiple employees at a time.* + Have basic math and mechanical skills.* + Able to train employees in the proper way to operate machines with minimal error while focused on uptime and throughput.* + Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings and identify critical measurements.
* + Will need to provide employees with performance expectations and production goals.* + Provide employees with tools, resources, motivation, training, and accountability.* + Needs to have flexibility with production hours.* + Lead by example by adhering to all code of conduct policies, rules, and regulations.* + Understanding & usage of the metric system, reading micrometer, caliper & tape measure.* + Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and daily problem-solving skills.
* + Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
