Haul CDL Driver

Pay $19.20 during training period then paid by the load.

Reports to the Live Haul Supervisor/Manager. Live Haul Drivers are responsible for the humane handling and transportation of live poultry from producer farm sites to the processing plant as well as the completion of related documents.

• Driver will use electronic log
• Pre/post inspection for truck & trailer
• Scale (empty weight) proceed to the farm
• Driver will use all necessary PPE
• Unbind cage hooks for the crew to load birds
• Secure load by binding with cage hooks
• Fuel each trip. Scale loaded
• Holding shed. Dolly down/unhook.

• Must have valid Class A CDL
• Good safety record
• The ability to do frequent heavy lifting with a mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to bind cages with an excess of 150 pounds of torque weight on a frequent basis
• Must be able to complete a DOT physical and drug & alcohol screen
• Must have 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
• Must have the ability to operate a manual CMV.
