Russellville Dental Group, a Heartland Dental supported practice, seeks a Full‑time Experienced Dental Assistant. You’ll work with state‑of‑the‑art technology in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment that places patients first.

Location:
230 North Elmira, Russellville, AR 72802 - Expected Full‑time hours:
Monday‑Thursday 7:30‑5:00 & Friday 7:30‑2:00 (subject to change)
- Greet and welcome patients, sustain comfort & provide education throughout treatment
- Review patient health history to provide quality care
- Take & process x‑rays & other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
- Provide superior chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling & record keeping
- Prepare treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols & following OSHA & CDC recommendations
- Manage supply & inventory levels, place & expedite orders as needed
- Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems & maximize office workflow
- High School Diploma / GED
- State‑issued Dental Assistant Permit & X‑ray credentials
- 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software
- Working knowledge of dental procedures & terminology
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Strong communication, organization, & multitasking abilities
- Adaptable to changing workflows & team dynamics
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Team player who thrives in a supportive, family‑like environment
- Ability to lift & carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year
- Prolonged periods sitting & standing
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
