Position: PROJECT ENGINEER

Wanted:
We are seeking a mechanical or civil engineer with solid fundamentals to join our team as a Project Engineer. Our ideal Project Engineer thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working alongside sharp thinkers who are transforming the industry through creative engineering solutions that impact our global infrastructure. (think: industrial bridges, transportation, aerospace, nuclear, high-rise buildings, etc.)

This is not the type of office where you are isolated in a corner staring at a computer screen all day or working on the same project for years. In this role you get to work with a cross-functional team of engineering, sales, field techs, and fabrication as you design and build new solutions. You are working at our Russellville, Arkansas equipment depot and service center where you get hands‑on experience on projects from conceptualization to field operation.

You are energized by learning and absorbing diverse perspectives and working with a team to wear different hats to get the job done – meaning, you are resourceful, proactively engaged, and collaborative. You also can focus on the details and jump in to move a project to completion, on time and within budget. You are eager to learn our approach to problem solving, how we design using 3‑D modeling, and how we apply innovation and creativity to design and deliver powerful solutions for our clients that help them maximize costs, efficiency, and outcomes.

In this role you have an opportunity to develop your engineering skills and grow quickly by working with a team of highly skilled engineers with decades of experience through the following job responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, drafting & detailing of structural/mechanical systems & retrofits.
  • Design, drafting & detailing of new equipment components for field applications.
  • Equipment/technology research and application to projects as part of the design process.
  • Generate structural/mechanical engineering reports, calculations & evaluations for feasibility.
  • Assembly of design & drawing packages for RFQs.
  • Procurement, fabrication tracking & expediting in support of projects.
  • On‑Site field walkdowns and meetings to support major projects.
  • Travel to project sites, up to 15% of the time, may be required.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical or Civil engineering graduate.
  • EIT with intent to obtain PE License.
  • Self‑starter with solid work ethic.
  • Desire to work in a “Hands‑On” small business setting where you wear different hats.
  • Sound knowledge of Statics & Mechanics of Materials
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Stand‑Out

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Inventor or Solid Works
  • Knowledge of structural steel design
  • Knowledge of RISA 3‑D or other FEA software
  • Knowledge of the crane & rigging industry
  • Knowledge of AISC Manual & structural/mechanical detailing
  • Experience in the construction and/or fabrication industry
Must Haves:
  • Valid driver’s license & a safe driving record
  • US work authorization
  • Credit check, criminal background check & drug testing
