We are looking for a dedicated Estimator to join our team and specialize in providing accurate cost estimate for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Location:Russelville, KY
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of project requirements and specifications to prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial and industrial HVAC and electrical services
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to gather essential information for accurate estimations.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to assess project scope and identify material and labor requirements.
- Develop detailed estimates that include material costs, labor projections, equipment expenses, and project timelines.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of pricing information and industry benchmarks to ensure competitive and precise estimates.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations to understand project needs and address any queries related to estimates.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and cost estimates.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills to accurately estimate costs and project timelines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
- Familiarity with estimation software and tools is a plus.
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial and industrial construction, with a focus on HVAC and electrical services.
- Thorough understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC and electrical systems, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex technical documents, such as blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills to accurately estimate costs and project timelines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
- Familiarity with estimation software and tools is a plus.
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
