The Fiscal Support Analyst for the Department of Campus Life position reports to the Associate Dean for Campus Life & the Student Union in the Division of Student Affairs. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, 12-month position. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions for the Department of Campus Life. This position performs administrative tasks including ordering supplies, managing budgets, and ensuring all University policies are met.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee front desk reception duties, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and greeting visitors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding inquiries and general information.
Provide assistance to students, faculty, and staff across campus.
Verify and process requisitions, travel requests, and compile all financial information used by supervisor to formulate budget proposals and monitors expenditures to ensure optimum operating efficiency.
Process all financial transactions, including reimbursements, invoices, and purchase orders.
Maintain accurate records and produce financial reports when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of computers and software applications.
Ability to prepare, present, and review oral and written information and reports.
Ability to research and analyze related work information.
Ability to analyze financial records and prepare reports.
Ability to plan and organize.
The formal education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in general business, accounting, or related field [OR] four (4) years of direct work experience in general business, bookkeeping, basic accounting, billing, or related experience.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in an office environment.
Experience in Banner or related software.
Proficiency with relevant technology including Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
Work Location, Environment, and Physical DemandsWork location is at Arkansas Tech University, Russellville Campus.
Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
