Overview
We’re looking for aContinuous Improvement Manager to join our largest food manufacturing plant located in Russellville, Arkansas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead continuous improvement at a large food manufacturing facility. As the Continuous Improvement Manager, reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll drive transformative changes in a nonstop environment. Your mission will be to lead and implement initiatives, ensuring our operations run more efficiently and effectively. By leveraging tools, systems, and methodologies, you'll achieve targeted improvements and foster a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with teams to lead process improvements and ensure understanding of business goals.
- Monitor KPIs and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
- Facilitate training and development programs to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage projects aimed at reducing waste, improving quality, and increasing throughput.
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to improve operations.
- Partner with the plant team to establish a zero-loss manufacturing culture and promote sustainable performance improvements.
- Lead and engage team members, providing guidance, coaching, and development for direct reports.
- Provide direction and expertise for Conagra Performance Systems (CPS) and other continuous improvement tools.
- Prepare annual targets for continuous improvement and help prepare the Site Master Plan, Performance Improvement Plans, Capital Plan, and Financial Plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience manufacturing operations management, including food processing and high-speed packaging, within a Continuous Improvement environment (HPWS/TPM/CPS, Lean Manufacturing, etc.). You must be comfortable working in a large, high-speed, 24/7 food manufacturing facility.
- Lead teams by promoting collaboration, solving problems, and bringing departments together.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, conducting root-cause analysis, collecting data, and solving problems using key HPWS, TPM, and CPS concepts.
- Working knowledge of production equipment and systems, including maintenance activities.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with hot or cold areas, slippery surfaces, and the need to climb ladders and stairs. Exposure to all food allergens.
Compensation: Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
