The Business Development Officer II is responsible for generating customer account relationships through referrals and personal solicitations. The role involves attending civic events such as Chamber of Commerce ribbon cuttings, banquets, and annual meetings, and developing a network to grow business relationships.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSuccessful performance requires satisfactory completion of all essential duties. The following are required:
Education and ExperienceBroad knowledge in accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 4 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsValid state driver's license.
Working ConditionsSomewhat disagreeable, with exposure to noise, intermittent standing, walking, and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting.
Environmental ConditionsFrequent exposure to outdoor weather, extreme heat, and occasional wet or humid conditions. Moderate noise level.
Physical ActivitiesRegularly required to stand, walk, talk, or hear; occasionally sit, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, and focus adjustment.
Additional Information- Strong sales skills and effective communication.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
This position may require use of a vehicle and is classified as a safety-sensitive position.
