Our client is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee Accountants to join their finance team in Rustenburg . Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and variance analyses.
- Support daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and maintaining ledgers.
- Help with the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in internal audits and support the finance team in ad-hoc financial projects.
- Learn and apply accounting software and systems relevant to the role.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related financial discipline.
- A strong academic record with a good understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to ethical financial practices.
- Eagerness to pursue professional accounting qualifications (e.g., SAIPA, SAICA).
