Social Enterprise Development Manager

Our client, a pioneering non-profit organization fostering economic empowerment in Rustenburg, North West , seeks an experienced and entrepreneurial Social Enterprise Development Manager. This role is pivotal in identifying, nurturing, and scaling sustainable social enterprises that create employment and address community needs. You will be responsible for scouting potential ventures, providing business support and mentorship, facilitating access to funding, and ensuring the social and financial sustainability of the enterprises. • Identify, assess, and support the development of new social enterprise initiatives in Rustenburg .
• Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and business development support to social entrepreneurs and their teams.
• Develop and manage incubation and acceleration programs for social enterprises.
• Assist enterprises in developing robust business plans, financial models, and market strategies.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, government agencies, industry partners, and support organizations in the North West .
• Organize workshops, networking events, and training sessions for entrepreneurs.
• Ensure enterprises align with Our client's mission and social impact objectives.
• Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities for social enterprise.

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in enterprise development, business incubation, venture capital, impact investing, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully supporting the launch and growth of businesses, preferably social enterprises.
• Strong understanding of business principles, financial management, marketing, and operations.
• Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or impact investment sourcing.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional networking, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to mentor and coach entrepreneurs effectively.
