About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Manager to lead high-profile building projects in Rustenburg . This leadership position is critical for overseeing all facets of project execution, from pre-construction planning through to final handover. You will be responsible for managing project teams, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are met. This is an exceptional opportunity to take charge of significant developments and shape the built environment within the North West province, working with a company renowned for its quality and integrity in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all aspects of multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
- Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities to ensure project objectives are met.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and resolve site issues promptly.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience, typically 12+ years, in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing diverse project teams.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, risk management, and financial control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or similar.
