Construction Site Manager - Residential Developments

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee residential development projects in Rustenburg . This crucial role involves managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, managing schedules, controlling costs, and maintaining a safe working environment. • Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and managing day‑to‑day operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to building plans , specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage site logistics, including material procurement, equipment utilization, and waste management, to optimize efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, safety incident reports, and timesheets.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.

• A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Manager or Foreman in residential construction.
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings , specifications, and building codes.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols (e.g., OH&S).
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a demanding environment.
