Senior Construction Foreman

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Construction Foreman to lead site operations in Rustenburg . This critical role involves supervising all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the direct link between project management and the on-site workforce, responsible for coordinating trades, managing schedules, and maintaining a safe working environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader to play a key part in the successful delivery of various construction projects within the North West province.

• Supervise and direct on-site construction personnel, including skilled trades and laborers, ensuring productivity and adherence to plans.
• Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment usage to maintain project schedules.
• Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures on the construction site, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Monitor progress of work against project plans, identifying and resolving on-site issues and potential delays promptly.
• Maintain site records, including daily logs, incident reports, and inspection documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all local building codes, regulations, and quality control standards.

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing diverse teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Relevant trade certification or a vocational qualification in construction is a plus.
