• Lead and manage the quantity surveying team, providing guidance and oversight on all projects.
• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
• Administer construction contracts, including tendering, negotiation, and final account settlement.
• Monitor project expenditure, identify potential cost overruns, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications, and manage variations and claims.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for potential projects.
• Advise on contractual matters, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety in the construction process.

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., SACQSP registration) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying, with significant experience in a senior or leadership role within the construction sector.
• Proven expertise in cost management, contract administration, and procurement for large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software and estimation tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to lead and influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with South African construction industry standards and practices in Rustenburg, North West .
