BIM Specialist - Architecture

Our client requires a highly proficient BIM Specialist with a strong architectural background to support projects in Rustenburg . This role focuses on developing and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM) to enhance design coordination, clash detection, and project delivery efficiency. You will be instrumental in establishing BIM standards, workflows, and best practices within the firm, ensuring seamless integration of information across disciplines.

This is a critical role for driving technological innovation and improving project outcomes through advanced digital construction methodologies.

• Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models according to project requirements and company standards.
• Conduct regular clash detection and coordination meetings with all project stakeholders.
• Create and manage BIM content, libraries, and templates for architectural elements.
• Provide training and support to architectural and engineering teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Extract information from BIM models for quantity take-offs, scheduling, and reporting purposes.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management with a BIM focus.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in BIM implementation and management.
• Expert knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is mandatory.
• Familiarity with various international BIM standards ("e.g., ISO 19650").
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to BIM data and processes.
