Civil Engineer - Transportation Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated Civil Engineer experienced in transportation infrastructure to join their established team in Rustenburg . This position involves playing a key role in the design, planning, and execution of road, highway, and public transit projects. You will work closely with government agencies and construction partners to deliver vital transportation networks that enhance mobility and economic growth. This role is based in the office, providing ample opportunities for hands‑on project management, site supervision, and direct collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders within the North West province .

• Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including roadways, intersections, and drainage systems.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
• Conduct traffic studies and analyses to inform design decisions and improve traffic flow.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public to address project concerns and requirements.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other relevant software for design and modeling.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant transportation modeling software.
• Strong knowledge of highway design principles, traffic engineering, and construction practices.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is an advantage.
