Planner​/Scheduler

An Engineering/Fabricating Concern in Rustenburg is seeking a Planner/Scheduler
.

• Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Production Management or related field
• Planning/Scheduling qualification will be an added advantage

• 3-5 years' experience in planning and scheduling
• Experience in steel fabrication, construction or mining will be advantageous

• Develop, maintain and monitor project/workshop schedules
• Coordinate activities across production, procurement, engineering, projects and other departments
• Monitor progress against planned schedules and identify delays or potential risks
• Track manpower, materials, equipment and other resources required to meet deadlines
• Update schedules and provide accurate progress reports to management
• Identify schedule deviations and assist with recovery plans
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables and critical deadlines
• Attend planning and progress meetings
• Maintain accurate planning records and documentation
• Liaise with supervisors, project managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure activities remain on schedule

• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to analyse information and identify potential delays
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
