About the Role
Our client is searching for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their operational team in Rustenburg . In this critical role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and optimization of all electrical systems and equipment within our industrial facilities. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and safety of our electrical infrastructure, contributing directly to uninterrupted production and operational efficiency.
This position requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles applied in an industrial setting. You will work closely with maintenance teams and production staff to maintain high standards of electrical system performance and safety across the North West operations.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests on electrical machinery.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for electrical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and system failures efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair history.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and testing tools.
