Our client seeks a skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in water resources management to join their team in Rustenburg . - Design and implement systems for potable water supply, distribution, and wastewater collection and treatment.
- Conduct hydrological studies, flood risk assessments, and develop effective stormwater management plans.
- Oversee the construction and maintenance of water infrastructure, ensuring compliance with design specifications and environmental regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports, technical drawings, and project documentation for water and sanitation projects.
- Collaborate with environmental scientists and regulatory bodies to ensure the sustainable management of water resources.
- Utilize advanced modeling software for water systems analysis, hydraulic design, and simulation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering , with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr.Eng. or a strong candidacy for it.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the design and management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in hydraulics, hydrology, and water quality management.
- Proficiency with relevant software such as EPANET, HEC-RAS, or similar hydraulic modeling tools.
- Thorough understanding of South African water legislation and environmental standards.
