• Design, develop, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for various industrial applications.
• Configure and commission automated machinery and production lines.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including control narratives, logic diagrams, and user manuals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of automated solutions.
• Program and integrate robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA) for manufacturing tasks.
• Conduct performance analysis of automated systems and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and industry regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in industrial automation and control systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
• Proficiency in programming various PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens S7, Rockwell Studio 5000) and SCADA software.
• Experience with industrial networks (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
• Familiarity with HMI design and implementation.
• Knowledge of robotic programming and integration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a meticulous approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to undertake occasional site visits and travel within South Africa.
