Event Coordinator - Entertainment

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and energetic Event Coordinator to manage and execute a variety of entertainment events in Rustenburg . This role involves hands-on planning, coordination, and on-site management to ensure successful and memorable experiences for attendees. You will work closely with vendors, talent, and stakeholders to bring events to life, from concept development through to post-event evaluation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, passionate about the live events industry.

• Plan and coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and entertainers to secure services and manage contracts.
• Develop detailed event timelines and manage on-site execution, ensuring smooth operations.
• Oversee event setup, breakdown, and attendee experience on the day of the event.
• Conduct post-event analysis and report on outcomes and feedback.

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar event management role.
• Demonstrated success in planning and executing entertainment events.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
