Video Game Producer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Video Game Producer to manage the development lifecycle of exciting new game titles in Rustenburg . You will be the central point of contact, coordinating between development teams, management, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a deep understanding of game development processes, and the ability to foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

You will play a crucial role in bringing innovative gaming experiences to life, guiding projects from concept to launch.

• Oversee the end-to-end development of video game projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between various departments, including design, art, programming, QA, and marketing.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and risk management plans.
• Identify and resolve roadblocks and issues that may impede development progress.
• Coordinate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance throughout the development cycle.
• Manage external vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with project goals and deliverables.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in game development, with at least 3 years in a Producer or project management role.
• Proven track record of successfully shipping multiple video game titles across different platforms.
• Strong understanding of the full game development pipeline, from pre-production to post-launch.
• Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.
