Finance Professional; CA; SA Hybrid

Group Finance | Operational Finance | Mining Services

Our client, a leading mining services provider delivering reliable underground and surface mining solutions across South Africa, is seeking a young, qualified finance professional to join their group finance team in Rustenburg.

This is a hybrid finance–operations role, ideal for someone who is analytically strong, commercially minded, and eager to gain exposure within a fastpaced, asset-intensive environment. Relocation to Rustenburg is required.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will gain exposure to, and be responsible for:

• Group consolidated reporting and financial analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Business analysis, cost analysis and operational performance reviews
• Asset management across mining equipment and operational assets
• Development and maintenance of reporting models, dashboards and KPIs
• Commercial support for business development, bids and tenders
• Contracts management, commercial reviews and negotiations
• Audit preparation and interaction with external auditors
• Assisting senior management with strategic and operational finance initiatives

Minimum Requirements

• CA(SA) Minimum 3 years postarticle experience Other relevant high-level finance qualifications (e.g., CIMA, BCom Hons Accounting, CTA) may be considered
• Strong academic record and solid understanding of financial reporting
• Experience in financial modelling, consolidation principles & budgeting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; exposure to BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) advantageous
• Strong commercial and analytical capability
• Willingness to relocate to Rustenburg and engage closely with operations
• Valid Driver’s Licence
