Our client seeks a bright and motivated Investment Banker Analyst to join their high-performing team in Rustenburg. This role provides exposure to a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory services for businesses in the North West province and beyond. You will be instrumental in conducting financial analysis, building complex valuation models, and preparing client-facing materials.
This is a demanding but rewarding position for individuals passionate about finance and eager to develop expertise in investment banking.
- Assist in the origination and execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions.
- Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analyses.
- Prepare pitch books, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and management presentations.
- Conduct extensive industry research and due diligence on companies and markets.
- Support senior bankers in client interactions and deal management processes.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential transaction opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction services.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.
- Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and a rigorous work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
