Financial Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Clerk to join our finance team. This role primarily focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting. As a key contributor, you will ensure financial compliance and support the overall financial health of the organization.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
• Handle bank reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are promptly investigated and resolved.
• Support budgeting processes by preparing and monitoring departmental expenses.
• Respond to queries from internal stakeholders regarding financial transactions and reports.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with auditors during financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Proven experience in a financial clerk or similar role within a financial department.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

• A diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field will be advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software such as Pastel or Sage.
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual tasks.
