Chief Financial Officer; CFO

Our client, a rapidly growing enterprise, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial aspects of the company. This executive leadership position is crucial for guiding the financial health, strategic direction, and long-term sustainability of the organization. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, risk management, reporting, and investment activities. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and accounting principles.

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategy and long-term financial plans.
• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and capital structure to ensure financial stability and growth.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and advice to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
• Assess and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate control measures.
• Lead investor relations and manage relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders.
• Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities to support business growth.
• Develop and manage the company's annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role (e.g., CFO, VP of Finance).
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP), and tax regulations.
• Demonstrated success in managing cash flow, investments, and debt financing.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of business operations and market dynamics, particularly within the North West region.
• Experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
• Residency or strong ties to the Rustenburg, North West, ZA area is preferred.
