About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous Information Security Auditor to join their team based in Rustenburg . This role is vital for ensuring the effectiveness of the organization's security controls and compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will be responsible for planning and executing audits, identifying non-compliance issues, and recommending corrective actions. The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of audit methodologies, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to various stakeholders, contributing to the overall security and integrity of the company's information systems.

• Plan, execute, and document information security audits across various systems and processes.
• Assess the effectiveness of existing security controls and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
• Evaluate compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to track the remediation of audit findings.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats , vulnerabilities, and audit best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in information security auditing or IT compliance.
• Proven experience conducting audits of network infrastructure, applications, and data security controls.
• Knowledge of auditing frameworks such as ISO 27001, COBIT, or SOX.
• Relevant certifications like CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are highly preferred.
