Solutions Architect - Telecoms

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design of cutting-edge telecommunications solutions from their Rustenburg office. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical architectures. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems, enabling you to guide project teams and stakeholders towards optimal technological outcomes.

• Design end-to-end technical solutions for telecommunications projects, encompassing network, cloud, and application components.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to define solution requirements and scope.
• Develop detailed technical architecture documents, including diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendors to meet project objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solution offerings.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical architecture, solution design, or systems engineering within the telecommunications sector.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies.
• Deep understanding of telecommunications systems, including mobile networks (4G/5G), VoIP, and IP networking.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
