Senior Network Engineer

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable network solutions, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal throughput.
• Develop and execute comprehensive network security strategies, including intrusion detection/prevention systems and access control mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in a timely and efficient manner, providing in-depth technical analysis and support.
• Collaborate with systems administrators and application developers to ensure seamless integration and performance of network services.
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and industry best practices, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical network infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on telecommunications environments.
• Proven expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and other routing and switching protocols.
• Hands‑on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Huawei).
• Proficiency in network security principles and technologies (e.g., VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, PRTG, Nagios).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS) are highly desirable.
