CLEANERS​/TEA LADIES

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen areas, dining areas, serving areas, and workstations.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and maintain floors according to the cleaning schedule.
• Clean tables, counters, chairs, appliances, and other surfaces.
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment where required.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste according to site procedures.
• Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow all hygiene, food safety, and health and safety requirements.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Report any damages, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the relevant supervisor.
• Assist with ad‑hoc cleaning and support duties as and when required.

Previous cleaning experience in a canteen, kitchen, corporate, or food service environment will be advantageous. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, hygiene procedures, and safe handling of cleaning equipment. Food safety awareness will be an added advantage.
