About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Cleaning Technician to join their team in Rustenburg . This role is vital for maintaining the operational integrity and safety of industrial environments, including manufacturing plants, workshops, and heavy machinery areas. You will be responsible for performing specialized cleaning tasks, often in challenging conditions, using advanced equipment and techniques to remove contaminants, grease, and debris.

The ideal candidate is proficient in industrial cleaning methods, committed to adhering to strict safety protocols, and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision to ensure a clean and hazard-free workplace.

• Perform specialized cleaning of industrial equipment, machinery, and facilities using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Operate and maintain various industrial cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, steam cleaners, and vacuum systems.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste according to regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct pre- and post-cleaning inspections to ensure all requirements are met and identify potential hazards.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with site managers and maintenance teams to schedule cleaning activities and address specific needs.

• Proven experience as an Industrial Cleaning Technician or in a similar hands-on cleaning role.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, solvents, and their safe application.
• Proficiency in operating specialized industrial cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in industrial settings, including hazardous waste management.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and potentially in confined spaces.
