About the Role
Our client seeks a proactive and experienced Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to manage cleaning operations at their extensive facility in Rustenburg . This role is critical for maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant working environment within an industrial setting. You will lead a dedicated team of cleaning professionals, ensuring all tasks are performed to the highest standards, adhering strictly to safety regulations and operational procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled supervisor to implement best practices in industrial hygiene and contribute to the smooth functioning of a large-scale operation in the North West province. Your leadership will directly impact workplace safety and efficiency.
- Oversee the daily operations of the industrial cleaning team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including COSHH and other relevant standards.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any cleaning deficiencies or safety hazards.
- Manage the inventory of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Implement and improve cleaning schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within industrial cleaning or facilities management.
- Strong understanding of industrial cleaning techniques , equipment, and chemicals.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in an industrial environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols.
- Willingness to work shifts and be hands-on when necessary in Rustenburg .
