Facilities Maintenance Cleaner

Our client is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Cleaner to manage cleaning and sanitation operations for their facilities in Rustenburg . This role is integral to maintaining a productive and safe environment for all occupants. You will be responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, utilizing a range of cleaning methods and equipment. • Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing restrooms and kitchen areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Respond to cleaning requests and emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and report any larger issues to the facilities manager.

• Prior experience in a commercial or institutional cleaning role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper application and safety precautions.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and carpet cleaners.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with good time management skills.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a workplace setting.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
