Facilities Sanitation Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Sanitation Specialist to join their operations team in Rustenburg . You will be responsible for executing comprehensive cleaning plans, managing sanitation supplies, and adhering to stringent health and safety protocols.

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks as per the established sanitation plan .
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, common areas, offices, and specialized work zones.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
• Restock supplies in restrooms and kitchens, ensuring they are always adequately provisioned.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs identified during cleaning rounds.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste, including recyclable materials and potentially hazardous substances, following all regulations.

• Previous experience in a commercial or industrial sanitation role .
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and their safe usage.
• Familiarity with operating various cleaning and sanitation equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
• Good physical condition, capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a facilities management context.
