Industrial Cleaning Technician Mining Support

• Perform specialized cleaning of industrial equipment, machinery, and work areas.
• Operate high-pressure washing equipment, vacuum systems, and other industrial cleaning tools.
• Clean and decontaminate areas affected by spills or hazardous materials, following strict safety procedures.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to the mining industry.
• Conduct pre- and post-cleaning inspections to ensure quality and thoroughness.
• Manage cleaning chemicals and materials, ensuring safe storage and responsible use.
• Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities, equipment checks, and any safety incidents.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a crew in potentially hazardous conditions.
• Support routine maintenance schedules by ensuring equipment and facilities are kept in optimal condition.

• Proven experience in industrial cleaning, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sector.
• Proficiency in operating industrial cleaning machinery and equipment.
• Strong understanding of chemical handling and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Knowledge of mining industry safety standards (e.g., OHS Act).
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where required.
• Excellent physical condition and ability to perform demanding manual labor.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays if needed.
• Strong commitment to safety and a proactive attitude towards risk management.
• Residency in or near Rustenburg, North West is highly advantageous.
