Plant Production Manager

Overview

Limpopo Concrete Cement Metal is seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Production Manager to oversee all aspects of production at our manufacturing facility in Limpopo. The Plant Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the plant, meeting production targets, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
– Plan, organize, and oversee all production activities at the plant
– Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
– Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
– Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
– Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained and products meet quality standards
– Supervise and mentor production staff, providing training and support as needed
– Implement and enforce production policies and procedures
– Manage inventory levels and ensure raw materials and supplies are ordered in a timely manner
– Prepare reports and updates on production performance for senior management

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the concrete, cement, or metal manufacturing industry
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
– Knowledge of production processes and best practices
– Familiarity with health and safety regulations
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
